We stopped at the Black Oak Restaurant in Vacaville, CA. There used to be the Nut Tree and the Coffee Tree, but alas, they are no more. Only the Black Oak remains

A glamorous restroom in the Peppermill in Reno, Nevada. In many casinos, the bathrooms are hard to find, however, the Peppermill is so disorienting (and they cater to an older clientelle) having hidden bathrooms would be a disaster for them.

Cola ponders the menu at the Coffeeshop in the Peppermill Casino in Reno Nevada. The booths are large and very upholstered. The ceiuling is mirrored. It teems with plastic plants, including cherry trees, forever in the bloom of springtime. I love this place.

After lunch, we went over the the Fireside Lounge in the Peppermill Casino in Reno, Nevada. The billboards advertising the lounge said something about "late nights / early evenings." It's about 2:30 pm when this picture was taken. The Peppermill caters to an older croud. The sexy cocktail waitresses are about 45 years old. You can pretend you're staying up late at any time of day. I'm going to retire to Reno and go to the Peppermill everyday when I'm old. The fireside lounge was festooned with TV screens, showing 40 years worth of mainstream music vieos, one after another. Those speakers, though, are really good. They're Genolec monitor speakers, the same kind I use. There was really good sound quality in the lounge. And yes, that's fire in a pool of water.
