When Matthew, the ex Mills College CS professor was visitting schools, he used to drive around campus, look for the ugliest building, and the know it was the eingeering building or a science building. This is the study area of the Science Library at Wesleyan.

One of my other favorite pictures in the library. The women gradutes of 1910. Wesleyan went co-ed for a while, but then a period of neoconservativism descended upon the country and women lost many gains they had made and the University became single sex again, despite the seeming permance of gains made by women.
