There is still a hole in my bathroom. There is still a leak upstairs. There is crumbling bits of ceiling in my shower. I wonder how much of my bathroom will end up being ripped out. I wonder when this will happen.

India House, the grad student housing that's been assigned to the music department for more than 35 years (the person who has been here the longest remembers that far back. maybe longer) is going to be sold next summer.

India House is more than grad housing that's in dismal repair, it's also a frequently used rehersal space.

This piano is um weird. It's untuneable. The sustain is stuck on. It sounds like a piano from a nightmare. Many grad students have written music for it.

India House is also used as a concert space. Last year, a vistting trio played an improv show in one of theliving rooms.

Visitting artists often stay as India House, since they have three living rooms, one can make a guest bedroom.

Angela lives in India house for the second year in a row. When I visitted school to see if I wanted to come here, I stayed in India House.
