Zwarte Piets in a window display for the V&D in Den Haag.
There was only one Santa per window (not pictured), but multiple Piets. I read recently that Zwarte Piet is not considered an individual, but rather is the name of all of Santa's slaves.

For some reason, the V&D chose to pair it's ceiling displays of Zwarte Piet figures with thick ropes, such that Piet was hanging from ropes. This one was hanging upside down.

In the Netherlands, Sinterklaas arrives by ship from Spain. Zwarte piet comes with him. These toy boats had a large and kind of scary Zwarte Piet behind every Santa.

The candy store on the corner of my street features posters in the window which are pictures of white children in black face with candy. These posters have been up since I fist arrived in Den Haag at the beginning of September.
All of the models are blackened up such that somewhere on their person, a patch of visible white skin still remains.
