"We want from USA to cancel article 140 from Iraqi Constitution."
Article 140 states, "First: The executive authority shall undertake the necessary steps to complete the implementation of the requirements of all subparagraphs of Article 58 of the Transitional Administrative Law.
"Second: The responsibility placed upon the executive branch of the Iraqi Transitional Government stipulated in Article 58 of the Transitional Administrative Law shall extend and continue to the executive authority elected in accordance with this Constitution, provided that it accomplishes completely (normalization and census and concludes with a referendum in Kirkuk and other disputed territories to determine the will of their citizens), by a date not to exceed the 31st of December 2007."
The goal of the article is to reverse some of the forced arabization of Kurdistan that took place under the previous government.
I don't know what issue these protestors have with the article, but they clearly feel that Kirkuk is their home.

The Peace Palace. This is where the World Court happens.
The US has a law stating that if any American soldier is brought up on charges there, they will take military action (meaning invasion) to stop the proceedings. Thus, the US is on record against the Peace Palace. Go America.

"The World Peace Pathway
"196 nations joined together in cooperation and solidarity to create the World Peace Pathway, opened 27 April 2004.
"Please add your prayer for peace as you walk around.

The named of the 196 nations are etched on the copper trim, in alphabetical order around the pathway. The US is right by the big white rock to the right of the plaque.
It's a very short path for peace.

The World Peace Flame is behind glass, so the flame doesn't get out of control and burn down the Peace Palace.
And probably also to make immune from wind storms and other shifts of the weather.
