A LOT of eggs were on sale for Easter. You could find whole, empty osterich shells, some decorated. Also, empty egg shells were sold with elaborate decorations. People hung them from trees and outdoor things as easter decorations.
These colored eggs are all hard boiled. I ate more hardboiled eggs in Munich than I'd eaten in the last 5 years.
